Training Assessment

Objective: We will meet with the admissions team stakeholders to determine training objectives, reporting and success metrics, and organizational structure. Assess current processes, procedures and messaging. This assessment will help define training and coaching objectives.

Success Indicators: Attaining a clear understanding and plan for future training, defining success metrics and agreeing on a measurement plan. Also, developing insights that inform the conversation training material.

Conversation Training

Objective: Train staff over two days — on the conversational elements of student engagement, including: relationship building, differentiating programs, matching services to the student, and gaining meaningful student commitment for qualified prospects. Training manuals, customized and specific for, will be provided.​

Success Indicators: Increases in depth of conversations  resulting in increased applications and improved application-to-start conversions for qualified applicants.

Process Engineering

Objective: Introduce process mapping to identify opportunities for improvement in conversions during the Enrollment (Application-to-Accept) and/or Services (Accept-to-Start).

Success Indicators: Improved student’s experience shortened processing time, and a reduction in staff activities and tasks.

Program Training Development

Objective: Increase the team’s “product knowledge” of the current degree programs offered. Utilizing subject matter experts, we will further define the program “need to know’s,” program entrance requirements, academic success expectations, and unique value propositions.

Success Indicators:  Insights gathered to develop program training.

One-on-One Coaching Sessions

Objective: One individual coaching session conducted with each team member to reinforce conversation training and increase retention of training.

Success Indicators: Individual and group counselor meetings to enhance student conversations. Scored coaching sheets will provide individual and group progress indicators on achievement of successful engagement.

Objective: We will work with leadership to help define clear and measurable performance metrics for admissions staff, exhibited behaviors the admissions team should be aware of, and how promotional opportunities are determined. 

Success Indicators: The leadership team will have a strong understanding of what defines success for admissions team members by role, and how to evaluate team members according to success metrics.
